The Triton plate carrier NIJ-4 SA black contains two hard bulletproof plates class 4 NIJ 0101.04 Stand Alone as protection against ballte rifles and assault rifles such as M16, M4, SCAR 16, FAL and SCAR 17.

With a NIJ-4 Stand Alone this means that the plate can only catch a rifle bullet on itself. It is therefore not important what one wears under the Stand Alone bulletproof plate, as the bullet remains in the plate. This Triton plate carrier can be worn above a light bulletproof vest NIJ-2 or HO1-KR1, but this can also be a T-shirt or combat shirt. There is therefore no need to wear a soft bulletproof vest under the Stand Alone plates NIJ-4. The big advantage of this is that virtually no trauma injury is caused to the body by the impact of a rifle bullet.

The Triton plate carrier NIJ-4 ICW has an anti-slip fabric on the inside that helps the carrier hold perfectly on the soft bulletproof vest underneath. The Triton carrier also features a 3D Spacer liner for maximum comfort and to reduce trauma.

This Triton plate carrier offers protection at the front and rear. Features a tabard style design for ease of use and perfect adjustment through the shoulder and waist straps. The front and back are quite neutral and can be provided with large patches.
