The PGD FRAG modern coyote military splinter-resistant, stab-resistant, and bulletproof vest is a 3a NIJ 0101.04 IRR-resistant basic package that can be modularly expanded with additional accessories.
The Multicam camouflage color is also used by the Belgian army.
The PGD FRAG heavy-duty tactical vest is designed to provide maximum splinter-resistant protection against grenade fragments and 3A ballistic protection against small arms up to .44 magnum according to NIJ 0101.04 IIIA. 360° splinter-resistant and bullet-resistant protection is currently most useful, especially against drone attacks.

Key features of the PGD FRAG tactical vest:
• The shoulder straps have a breaking strength of 1472 kg.
• The laminate is PU-coated, water-repellent, and IRR-resistant (infrared reflective, making you difficult to see in the dark for IR cameras and drones). – Made in Europe (Foxa Oy, Finland) and (Brookwoods Companies, INC., USA).
• Made of 500-denier Cordura laminate, which is 35-40% lighter than traditional MOLLE. This provides optimal freedom of movement for extended wear.
The PGD FRAG is lined with Outlast® PCM (Phase Change Material) technology, meaning the material actively regulates and manages temperature for maximum comfort. Outlast® PCM absorbs, blinds, and releases heat as needed, keeping the wearer cool when hot and warm when cold. This dynamic temperature regulation prevents overheating or cooling and ensures consistent comfort under varying conditions.
ESAPI hard body armor plates must be added separately.
This PGD FRAG tactical body armor vest has built-in front and back pockets for Wearing ESAPI hard ballistic plates. For side protection, you'll need to upgrade with a plate bag, which is not included with the FRAG system. The following hard armor plates are compatible:
• Size small is compatible with ESAPI plates in size S and 30x25 cm
• Sizes medium-XL are compatible with ESAPI plates in size M and 30x25 cm flat
• Size XXL is compatible with ESAPI plates in size L and 30x25 cm
• Size XXXL is compatible with ESAPI plates in size XL and 30x25 cm
The hard armor plates are inserted through the Velcro opening on the inside of the vest and can be adjusted to a low or high position with the adjustable Cordura straps on the inside.
